The Osmanthus flower is native to Asia. In China, it is the “city flower” of Hangzhou (Zhejiang Province), Suzhou (Jiangsu Province) and Guilin, (Guangxi Province).
Osmanthus flowers are also used to produce Osmanthus-scented jam, Osmanthus cakes, Osmanthus dumplings, soups, and Osmanthus liquor.
