Chrysanthemum tea is believed to be first cultivated in China in the 15th century BC. As Chrysanthemum is a symbol of nobility and integrity, the tea became popular among poets and artists.
The various health benefits of Chrysanthemum tea can be found in the Chinese herbology book, “Compendium of Materia Medica.” Chrysanthemum is rich in vitamins and antioxidants. It is a natural coolant and helps in lowering the temperature of the body when suffering from fever or even heat stroke. Also, it is good for the detoxification of the liver, improving eyesight, lowering cholesterol levels and treating respiratory issues.
Delicious
I always drink Chrysanthemum tea because I heard it helps to reduce the impact of stress and improves your body health. The Chrysanthemum tea I got from here was quite different than those I usually got from the supermarket. It comes in a nice package, each Chrysanthemum was single-packed. I followed the instruction to brew the tea, tea tastes surprisingly good, after brewing the tea you will see a beautiful Chrysanthemum as well.
This is a review of Chrysanthemum Tea from @hencetea . I brewed this beautiful tea. The color is a gentle yellow and the flower is beautiful and a vibrant yellow as it brews. This tea smells clean. It is fresh and reminds me of a relaxing spa with its light Chrysanthemum and eucalyptus scent. The mouthfeel is soft and smooth with a thin broth consistency. It possesses a mild floral slight mint/eucalyptus flavor. A faint green vegetable is more noticeable as I drink. Every flavor is light and airy. Chrysanthemum Tea would be nice cold or warm. I have a few tips on brewing this tea. I put the tea in after I poured the water. I feel like the better choice is to pour the water over the flower. You can brew this tea in a cup or pot. Glass is best for the visuals. I suggest a glass cup. You can brew in a pot. If the pot is too big the tea will brew and be fine, but you will not be able to see it all fluffed up and too it’s full glory. Chrysanthemum Tea is a delicate ntea that leaves you feeling clean and pampered. The flavor is subtle and a safe tea to try because it doesn’t have sharp notes that are jarring. It is simply light and fresh. This is my favorite blooming tea so far. I can even see making ice cubes out of it and adding to smoothies for a hint of freshness.
This Chrysanthemum tea is very good, I like the scent when it brews and the good health benefits.
